Privacy Policy

Effective October 1, 2026. This notice describes the TaskTrack private beta. It applies to TaskTrack accounts and app usage. TaskTrack is independent from Taskrabbit.

Information we use

When you apply, we collect your email, name, selected metro, category answers, goals and profile choice. Your separate TaskTrack password is handled by our authentication provider; we do not ask for your Taskrabbit password. We use profile and marketplace observations to prepare your personal view. We also process basic technical information needed to keep accounts and the service secure.

Why we use it

We use this information to review applications, connect an approved account to the right profile, deliver reports, support users, detect misuse and maintain the beta. Administrators can see application answers and account status. We do not sell your TaskTrack account information.

Optional analytics

After approval, you may choose whether to allow product analytics in Settings. With your permission, we record visits, pages and sections viewed, interactions, scrolling and active time to improve the beta. Google Analytics receives limited events without your name, email or report values. You can withdraw permission in Settings; this stops future optional analytics. Necessary account and security processing continues.

Beta feedback

Short in-app questions are optional. If you respond, administrators can see your answer and comment linked to your TaskTrack account. We use these responses to prioritise improvements. Do not include passwords, verification codes or other sensitive information. Feedback is retained for up to 180 days and is removed when your account is deleted.

Storage and providers

We use Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, hosting, storage and operation of the service, and Google Analytics when you allow it. They process information for TaskTrack under their applicable terms. Your browser stores sign-in state, language and analytics preferences. We retain account information while your account is active and for a reasonable period where needed for security, operations or legal obligations; saved source observations and separately published reports may have different retention.

Your choices and requests

You can change your email, reset your TaskTrack password, choose analytics and delete your TaskTrack account in Settings after approval. Deleting the account removes your client access and related account records, but does not automatically erase independent marketplace observations or a separately published report. To ask about your data or a pending application, contact support@tasktrack.app.

Security and children

We use account access controls and separate client authentication. No online service can promise absolute security. The beta is intended for adults and is not designed for children.
